Man in creation from birth to death encounters humans, religions and myths which he sometimes devotes all his life to and insatiably cherishes and pursues them whose thought and philosophy have revoluted his life. Hence, it is the flying chariot of love not the rationalists’ leaden wings.
In our era, love has bended down the steel structures which had scratched the sky on the basis of logic, ration, conclusion and calculation and so has the voice of creation.
F. J. Haydn with his divine sounds in a wholehearted meditation speaks about magnificent loves leading man to Ormazd. Every note of his works overflows with life, vivacity, rapture and hence, we bow against him in reverence and commend his God-bestowed gift. A mythological figure who has left behind a heritage of nearly one hundred string quartets. And this is only a little portion of his monumental works.
J. S. Bach likens a two-faced mirror in the course of music development. One face to the past, one face to the future. Cantata against sonata. Song against string. He was a man from the earth carrying a lantern to eternally illuminate the music right path.
He infatuatedly sought God and considered freedom a God-endowed blessing and walked on the transcendent and lofty roads of perfection. Undoubtedly, he was the one who paved the way for another peerless figure’s presence who emancipated music from shackles and handcuffs of enslavement and addressed man.
L. v. Beethoven was enigmatically mysterious and mystic. He ridiculed his era’s customs and traditions. It was said that the age of music for thought and philosophy had expired but he composed only for thought and philosophy. He fought against the dark destiny and won the perpetual triumph.
E. Sati’s thought transcended his time, though the conservative association obstructed his way of progress. He was an intellectual philosopher who had a sincere collaboration with Picasso and Cocto. Socrate, one of his works, is hailed an intrepid work. He like all his predecessors fought through all his life and still continues to fight by his works. Undoubtedly, any sediment of darkness even of the size of a particle will be washed away.
A. Khachaturian depicts the brave Armenian woman in Gayane ballet. she shows a lot of valiant self-sacrifice just for the liberty and overcoming the enemy. Every scene of this ballet overflows with different local themes and folk lyrics and the dance music in the first act of the third part of this ballet incarnates kords’ and Azaris’ dancing in a special ecstasy, rapture and transport. One of the prettiest is called Saber dance that is widely known. Khachaturian’s creativity was as wide as his years of life and thus in his 100th birthday, his music’s eloquent language is still as accurate, obvious, stable and vivacious.
Truth has no certain geography. It addresses all lands, nations and humans standing clear away from time’s ravages and rust.
G. Gabrieli was of the late renaissance venetian composers. This city was the center of the world’s opera and music composition in the 16th century. The magnificent incarnation of thought and beauty in painting, architecture and music petrifies man and lets him gradually climb the rough and heterogenic firmament of emancipation. Emancipation from the inside, the ignorance, the evil, the avarice, the fear, the indolence, the false illusions and eventually the respected and reverend idols.
Undoubtedly, L. Boccherini deserves a certain attention because in cosmic order there is a supreme power which makes man revolute himself by disordering substances and surrendering his soul to a lofty end and thus there is no enchantment in cherishing and loving, all you find is panting after salvage. Man, beyond his own personal affairs and habits of comfort and pleasure, sets an end beyond his own being and keeps going nonstop until ascension meditating that this is the only way to attain culture, man, unity and truth.
S. Alasgarov begins his aspiration and fervor with studying music at Shoosha music school, setting off on a way that makes him one of the followers of the intellectual people- Ghare bagh in Azerbayjan is the origin of great artists and he composes his works inspired by utilizing the native idyllic and spectacular landscapes. He, like his predecessors, by utilizing music notes tranquilizes his soul’s inside rapture. Every note likens a hard-covering shell concealing a great and miraculous power and he must nurture it in his soul to obtain meaning so as to bear it in a grand explosion. And this is the ethereal way of all who meditate about meaning and man in their small homeland, the earth.
Long ago, when H. Purcell was creating Fairy queen inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, he didn’t think about anything but beauty and freedom. The great artist looked beyond the current of everyday life and saw the eternal unalterable symbols and alongside people’s erratic and often unstable activities detected grand currents which enthralled his soul. Prelude, Hornpipe, overture, Air, Rondo, Dance for the fairies and ten movements of Fairy Queen reveal his modernity in utopia. Successive dances are the numerous forms of life.
F. Amirov got familiar with music from childhood. Among appealing sounds he looked for his own soul’s ardor. Beauty had betrothed him and despite his superficial resistance his soul was dominated. Destiny was resolute to put him in the line of heroes and saints.
Shostakovich said “Melody is his innovative soul”. And he knew that Lucifer was slumbering in solace on the pinnacle of life so he took the suffering path and constantly carved the song of eternity on the music slate.
N. R. Korsakov, in turn, loved to defeat debauchery, indulgence and death. Creation had left it’s deep impact on his visage. The music resurrection now bore and ordered the whole dead, lifeless and disordered. And instruments before his strong and innocent sight sang in such a way that the sky sparkled and the art galaxy veiled copious uglinesses.
Let’s listen to music and get inundated with its perpetual solace and believe that the man’s virtue lies in the endeavor for triumph not the triumph itself. Creation, identical to love, is an enchanting quest overflowing with uncertainty and yearning.
